Invented by Hungarian sculptor Erno Rubik in 1974, the Rubik’s (not Rubix) cube became the world’s best selling toy with over 300,000,000 sold thus far. If you are not already the proud owner of one of these classic puzzles then why not acquire one now.
In a standard Rubik’s cube, each face is covered by nine stickers of one of six solid colours. To solve the puzzle you need to make each face of the cube a solid block of colour.
There are 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 possible permutations on a 3 x 3 Rubik’s cube but the puzzle can always be solved within just 26 moves. For those who are stumped by Mr Rubik's enigmatic brain teaser each puzzle comes with a solution and hint booklet to help you master the cube.
We have the original 3 x 3 cube as well as the new and slightly more difficult 4 x 4 cube. Also available is the smaller Rubik’s Cube Keyring which you can play on the move.
