Shocking Tanks
These are not just any pair of remote controlled tanks. These are remote controlled tanks that will give you an electric shock when yours is hit and let you give your opponent an electric shock when you hit theirs. The aim of the game is to knock out the other tank by shooting lasers from your infra red cannon at your opponent’s tank. When a tank is hit it will rock backwards and forwards emitting explosion sounds. Each tank has six hit indicator lights on top of it and you need to turn these off to win.
The tanks move on tracks just like real tanks and the metal that they are made out of will sense an infra red ‘hit’. The controllers have metal contact strips on them that you need to touch in order to control your tank properly. When your tank is hit then the controller will give you an electric shock. If you set the shock level to low then each time you hit the other tank then you knock one of their lights off. However set it to high and you will take two of their lights off. This means though when your tank is hit you get a more severe shock. This risk/reward feature is one of the best bits of the game.Great tank battles can be had with shocking tanks and they become an addictive game to play. You learn how much pain you can endure in order to be victorious as well as becoming a radio controlled tank master.
