Powerball
Powerballs are amazing wrist exercise machines that create a force through the power of a gyroscope inside the device.
The Powerball is started with a short rip string. The string is fed into the Powerball and jerked hard (a bit like starting a lawnmower). The idea is then to accelerate the gyroscope to incredibly high revolution rates by following a gently circular wrist motion with the device. The subtle motion of the wrist causes the rotor within to spin quicker and quicker. This can exert a gyroscopic force of 35 pounds when it is spinning at 13000rpm. This resistance can used to strengthen muscles in the hand, wrist, forearm and fingers.
